Confident Faith in God Stories

STORY #8--Miraculous Healing of Sight

Posted by Klaus Issler on April 20, 2010

JESUS:     “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. . . . You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit — fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”    (John 15:7-18, 16 )

3.  Miraculous healing.  We have both seen and heard eyewitness testimony to miraculous healings too numerous to mention.  During the last two years, in our church alone, there have been at least six cases of cancer miraculously healed, some of them terminal and beyond medical intervention; one person who instantly had her complete eyesight restored from significant, partial blindness after receiving prayer; a Vietnam veteran blinded in one eye for twenty-five years by a grenade explosion who received full sight being prayed for by a team of several people; and a young deaf boy who miraculously received full hearing after a friend of ours laid hands on him and prayed.  These stories are real--in most cases we know the people involved in praying--and they could be multiplied many times over by other examples of miraculous healing.

“True faith is never found alone; it is always accompanied by expectations.
The man who believes the promise of God expects to see them fulfilled. Where there is no expectation there is no faith.”
